Day One

I arrived at North One Television at 9.30. The building looked like a normal house, nothing extraordinary inside or out, but the people were very nice and friendly. It was surprisingly busy in a good way, unlike the rest of London that was a swarm of businessmen and women. I then met Karl who gave me a tour of the building. Again, it was surprisingly ‘normal’. It wasn’t all desks and studios like I imagined. Infact there was no studio. Instead it was mostly editing suites, where I spent most of the day. After helping copy and print onto CD’s, I watched as the guys edited a small promotion video. The first day has kind of broken my expectations of how editing in T.V worked. I thought it was maniac 24/7and I didn’t realise the work fluctuated so much. Either way I look forward to what the next few days bring.
