So the V festival weekend has come and gone… However the weekend was much more than hard work. I arrived at Hyde Park in Chelmsford on Friday morning at 9.30, and work begun instantly… with helping to set up Blinks production office. So lucky to find out the production office was directly behind the main V stage.
My first task was to set up the presenters dressing room and doing a large number of labour and muscle jobs (which I am defiantly no good at), having to move 16 desk chairs all the way across the main track turned out to be a hard job to complete. Everyone moves around V in the Golf buggys, moving from stage to stage and I was lucky enough to be able to drive them for the whole weekend because of my drivers licence. The most exciting adventure being able to drive example to the TV studio (where I spent most of my work experience).
I was very lucky within the studio by meeting so many artists and celebrities who were performing or watching the festival in general. I was lucky enough to have my picture taken with Keith Lemon and a favourite star from TOWIE, Mick. Combined with this I met Rita Ora, Ed Sheeren, Rita Ora, Rizzle Kicks and many more. From doing small jobs, to beig jobs of helping out the presenters, I had the most amazing weekend and met alot of people.
Through all the hard work and looking after everyone, I did manage to get to watch parts of The Killers, David Guetta, Tulisa and Tom Jones perform, which turned out to be AMAZING LIVE. Especially when your standing at the side of the stage to them.
I defiantly made the most out of my experience and wouldn’t change anything I did or achieved. Thank you Tuskar Trust!!
